The People’s Artist 2026 Semifinalist<\/h3><\/div>

I was honored to participate in The Art of Elysium\u2019s 2026 The People\u2019s Artist fundraising competition. The organization brings creative programs to children\u2019s hospitals, elder care facilities, special needs schools, unhoused communities, and other underserved populations. I\u2019m proud to have earned a semifinalist spot while supporting this meaningful mission.<\/p>

2025 Merit Award<\/h3><\/div>

I am pleased to share receiving a Merit Award for my oil painting Grasping for Freedom, Grasping for Hope (shown above), at the 2025 Human Rights International Art Exhibition at the College of the Sequoias in Visalia, California. Over 300 entries were submitted from artists worldwide. Exhibition dates January 28-March 7, 2025

2024 Merit Award<\/h3><\/div>

I am pleased to share receiving a Merit Award for my oil painting (diptych) Between Good and Evil<\/em> (shown above), at the 2024 National Juried Competition at the Center for Contemporary Arts in Abilene, Texas. Over 300 entries were submitted from 30 states across the United States. The exhibit was on view Oct. 6-Nov. 16, 2024.
